Meet Jo, one of our Festival Directors and Co-ordinator of our fabulous Foodie Force Volunteers.
SHE WANTS YOU!
With the buzz around the Thame Food Festival starting to ramp up, now is a good time to get in touch and let us know that you’d like to be a Volunteer for us this year.
Our Foodie Force are fabulous, professional, courteous and a huge part of the success of the event – if you think you have what it takes, then please get in touch.
A snapshot of what you can expect is detailed below:
Once you’ve applied, two dates will be issued where you will meet with Jo and the other Volunteers – this will be for a short training session in August and September (the session will be repeated on both dates so you can attend one or both dependent on your availability).
Free entrance into the Food Festival along with a spare ticket for ‘that someone special’ 😉
Upfront donation per day for our Volunteers to get a breakfast / lunch of their choice.
Pastries and Refreshments upon arrival in our very own new Volunteer Head Office (tent)
Refreshments throughout the day as above
This year the majority of the work required by Volunteers is during early morning stallholder set up then manning the Box Office. Other than that, all other duties are covered and you are free to enjoy the day so it’s definitely worth your while to help…please 😊
