Are you Thame’s best baker? Oxfordshire’s cake king or queen?
The SECOND Big Thame Bake is now calling for entries, and we want YOU to rise to the occasion for local good causes.
Whatever your baking skill or age, there’s a category to charge your imagination. As with last year, we’ve got some fabulous prizes lined up too
All the way from Bath – bread legend Richard Bertinet will be judging, alongside Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons’ gents – Benoit Blin, Adam Johnson and Mark Peregrine. Natalie Coleman is looking after the children’s category and Will Torrent – chocolate man extraordinaire is in charge of the ….chocolate cakes!
Local businesses, we want you to take part too – from pubs to estate agents – we want to see just how competitive you really are.
Click here to see the categories, entries are now closed.
Find out more about our judges here.
PRIZE GIVING is on the Baking Stage from 12.15 – 1.15 so do pop along to see and support our judges and winners.
And… if that wasn’t enough, Thame Belles WI will be transforming the Town Hall into The Town Hall Tea Room from 1.00pm, open for tea, cake and a quick rest from the hustle and bustle of the fabulous Thame Food Festival. They will be selling the cakes from the bake off, so if you’re more of an eater than a baker you can still play your part!
